Bicycles in Egypt are Now Available for Purchase in Installments

Get those stretches in and warm up those leg muscles, we’re going cycling. In a bid to promote healthier and eco-friendly lifestyles, a new governmental initiative spearheaded by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the office of President Abdelfattah El Sisi is set to make bicycles more accessible to the public.

Under the banner of ‘Your Bike, Your Health’, the initiative encourages citizens to embrace cycling as an economical means of transport, aiming not only to reduce environmental pollution and traffic congestion, but also to enhance the physical fitness of Egyptians across the country.

Offering citizens the chance to own their bicycles at affordable prices, the initiative introduces a convenient installment plan through Banque Misr. The six-month installment plan allows for monthly payments as low as EGP 752, the 12-month installment plan comes at a monthly payment option of EGP 399, while the 24-month installment plan enables payments as low as EGP 224 monthly.
