Giggin' It at CJC

This Tuesday sees Cairo Jazz Club host another Giggin' It Night which bring together some of Cairo's biggest and brightest musical talents  for a night of finger lickin', eargasmic jam, centered on a certain theme. This week it's all about music that'll get you doing that sort of one shoulder pop whilst clicking your fingers and then getting slowly more and more into it till you're wearing dark Persols at the bar, nursing a whiskey. First up is Hassan Ramzi. Now we have to warn you ladies: bring a zimmerframe with you to the dance floor because this guy’s angelic voice has a 100% go-weak-at-the-knees factor.

Singing well known Pop and Indie rock covers, as well as some soulful originals with his trusty acoustic guitar, Ramzy will be followed by debutants Munkee Bizness. Blues bands in Cairo these days are few and far between, so expect a musical education courtesy of these funky Munkees. With Mohamed Ramsy on Vocals, Mohamed el-Mallawany on Bass, AJ El-Gohary on Drums and Youssef and Yehia El-Sioufy on Rhythm/Lead Guitar, expect a diverse range of classic Rock, Blues and downright gritty Sothern Rock tunes.

Finally on the line-up for the night is high-octane Funk and Rock n' Roll outfit Spunky Dynamite, headed up by the ever-energetic Adham Roushdy on vocals. They'll be handing out a dose of booty shaking covers as well as some jump up, jump up and get down originals.
