Giza’s Amr ibn Al-As Axis to Open by End of September

Giza’s Amr ibn Al-As Axis is set to open by the end of September. The axis aims to ease traffic congestion around Haram, Faisal, Talbeya, Orouba and Mariouteya.

The first phase of the axis will be around 4.5km in length, with further extensions planned. The axis will consist of three lanes each in both directions. The surrounding area is being developed to accommodate a number of restaurants, shops and parking lots.

The first phase of the axis will connect the southern part of the Ring Road with Haram Street. The next phase, due to be completed by the end of 2023, will connect to the Ring Road’s northern parts.
