Santa is Delivering Presents to Cairo and Alexandria in an Uber This Year

You can get anything delivered in Egypt these days, and Santa is no exception.

It's that time of year again; the trees are decorated, the bells are jingly, mood is jolly and Santa Clause is right around the corner, except you have no idea how literal that last part might be this year.

This merry old Christmas, Uber is taking old saint nick off his yearly rounds and driving him straight to your doorstep bearing some sweet swag courtesy of TheGiftery.com, if you're lucky enough to catch him that is.

The way it works is pretty simple; all you have to do is open the Uber app on Wednesday, the 27th of December between the hours of 2 and 8 PM and request 'UberSANTA', and if Santa isn't too busy binging on cookies and milk somewhere, Uber will yank him straight out of a chimney and have him at your doorstep within moments, full of holiday cheer and bearing gifts.

Keep in mind though that Santa works a solo shift, so the demand's going to be pretty high and supply might be low, so keep trying at it to get Mr Clause to pop up, and when he does, it's only for 15 minutes (other people need Christmas cheer too you know). UberSANTA will only be available in Cairo and Alexandria and for the low, low price of absolutely free.

So if you and yours want to get a few pictures with jolly old Santa and a bunch of cool gifts as well, make sure to keep your phone handy and hammer that UberSANTA option till he pops up.
