Scooby-Doo Hits Egypt

Looks like the global entertainment industry is finally noticing Egypt, with a slew of stage productions hitting our shores recently. The latest show to be announced is none other than Scooby-Doo and The Mystery of the Pyramid, slated to be performed on Cairo Festival City's stage this December. The hapless dog that's engrained in the memories of anyone born at any time from the 60s until the 00s will be joined by his motley crew - Shaggy, Fred, Velma and Daphne - as they get up to their usual antics, hoping to solve the mystery of Hatchepsout's resting place, dodging mummies and pharaoh curses along the way.

An official Warner Bros production, it's the first time Scooby-Doo's stage escapades come to Egypt after having delighted hundreds of thousands of children across Europe. Teaming up with MBC3 to bring all the fun to the stage, the Egyptian twist to the story line is bound to get Egyptian kids excited. Ticket prices start from 150 LE up to 500 and the shows will run between the 2nd and 6th December. Click here to find out more.
