In light of recent rumours regarding the conscription of females in the Egyptian military, funnyman Shady Srour - known for his satirical role-plays and his characterisation of cultural customs or phenomena - decided to take to the internet to poke fun at females who suddenly find out they will now have to serve in the military.
The video shows the interaction between Srour and his sister, 'Sara', who hilariously has a fit after her mother tells her she will have to serve in the military after she graduates. Her mother comments, “If you go to the military, who will wash the dishes? Oh this is a really big problem,” as Sara attempts to hide in random places around the house when a military officer waits for her at the door with a car to pick her up. The video has gone viral on social media with almost two million views in two days. Check it out below.
