VIDEO: Azhar Professor Says Women Can Beat Husbands
In a landmark statement, an Azhar representative has stated that it is permitted for women to use violence against their husbands in self defense.

In a video published by newspaper Al Youm 7, a professor from the religious Al Azhar institute states that if a woman is unable to achieve justice through the legal framework against her violent husband, then it is permissible for her to fight back. On the economic front this may mean good business for defense classes in Egypt. Check out the video here:
