There’s nothing quite like settling down in front of a banquet of food when the clock strikes Maghreb. But as you (or let’s be honest, your mum) know, it’s no easy feat to prepare a meal suitable for your Ramadan hunger. More difficult yet is whipping up a feast for your whole family or crew of friends in time for sunset. Luckily, a slew of Egypt’s top eateries will make it as easy as picking up the phone.

Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza

Home to the top restaurants in all of Egypt, a call to the Four Seasons will have all that fabulous food come to you. Whether it’s Iftar or Sohour, they’ll provide the whole banquet and more – their Event Specialist will even help you with the décor, flower arrangements, entertainment or lighting, to make your event really stand out.

InterContinental Cairo Semiramis

Downtown’s iconic hotel never fails to deliver good, wholesome food. Whether it’s Iftar for 30 people or Sohour for your whole company, they can cater to your hungry belly and then some. Choose between a set menu or a buffet, Iftar or Sohour, and tell them how many people you need to feed, and they’ll do the rest. Iftar set menus start from 175 LE per person, while the buffet spread starts from 210 LE. Sohour starts from 175 LE per person.

Cairo Marriott Hotel

Whether it’s a family Iftar or corporate Sohour, the Cairo Marriot can make all your Ramadan wishes come true. They offer several options for set menu Iftars and Sohours, as well as a buffet option for both. For a true Ramadan experience, try out their ‘Family Style’ menu, packed with authentic Egyptian dishes or better yet, they can send you street food stations so you can throw a bazaar-like banquet filled with foul carts and feteer stations.

Le Pacha 1901

Who doesn’t have fond food memories from Le Pacha 1901? This year, we imagine their catering team is going to be very busy as their options are pretty much endless. However, their packages need a minimum of 60 people to be catered for. Prices for both buffets and set menu Iftars begin at 260 LE per person and Sohour stars at 245 LE. Usefully, they also proved wait staff and refrigerating units, as well as plates and cutlery.

Le Pacha 1901 West

The Pacha’s 6th October cousin also has you covered with a choice of four different set menus, each designed to feed 100 or more hungry guest. Each of the menus cover a whole range of tastes as East meets West with lasagna and spring rolls as well as taboula and shawerma. Prices start at 250 LE per person.
