This collaboration is bound to make the most beautiful fashion baby.
Okhtein have been making waves both locally and internationally with their now-famous signature bags, having already had some pretty serious names in Hollywood, including Kriss Jenner, Emma Watson, and Emma Roberts, rock their creations both on and off the red carpet. Now, to the delight of fashion followers, the brand Okhtein - whose founding sisters are DDFC/Vogue Fashion Prize winners - has now officially named actress Amina Khalil as their brand ambassador.
Khalil, who is known for her role in the well-received Ramadan series Grand Hotel and considered a fashion icon, has already done a shoot for the brand, done by the nonee other than Maison Pyramide, who have been putting Egyptian fashion on the global map.
Speaking to Vogue Arabia, Khalil described her inspiration by the brand’s role in elevating Egypt’s fashion craftsmanship; “By representing Okhtein, I’m representing the determination that drives us Egyptians to pursue our goals and ambitions despite the obstacles that may cross our paths”.
For their part, Mounaz and Aya Abdel Raouf, the sister duo behind Okhtein, explain their choice of Khalil to be the face of the brand as being due to her strength, eloquence, independence, and ability to evolve.
These are Khalil’s first photos for the brand, taken by powerhouse Louay Nasser and they are gorgeous.
