Teatro di San Carlo Concert by the Giza Pyramids Has Been Postponed
Teatro di San Carlo will announce a comprehensive update regarding the new performance date within the next 10 days.
In light of regional tensions, Teatro di San Carlo has announced that their concert at the Grand Pyramids of Giza has been unavoidably postponed.
Originally scheduled for October 11th, the event will be the first time Teatro di San Carlo - Italy's most celebrated opera house, and the oldest continuously running opera house in the world - holds a performance in Egypt.
The performance will feature three internationally acclaimed opera stars: German-Austrian tenor Jonas Kaufmann, Italian soprano Maria Agresta, and Egyptian soprano Fatma Said. These luminaries will sing alongside the Orchestra Coro del Teatro di San Carlo, which will be led by the esteemed Italian conductor Giacomo Sagripanti.
