Abdel Halim Hafez, the Golden Age King of Music, will return in hologram form for a concert at Heliopolis's Baron Empain Palace.
It's a revival in more ways than one. The Baron Empain Palace - which was once the centre of high society in Heliopolis before it fell into ruin - continues to celebrate its restoration with a concert event featuring one of Egypt's most treasured Golden Age icons. On April 2nd, Abdel Halim Hafez - aka the Dark Nightingale, aka the King of Music - will return to the stage in hologram form, bringing us back in time to when everything was black and white, the Baron Palace was bright and new, and Abdel Halim Hafez's romantic, classic songs were the only music you wanted to hear on the radio.
