Following in the footsteps of Egyptian international superstars Amr Waked and Rami Malek, Maged El Masry’s making his hometown proud as he makes his Hollywood debut in 'The Outcast' alongside Academy Award nominee Eric Roberts.
It seems that long gone are the days of Egyptian actor Maged El Masry hitting our silver screens with gigantic hair and the mind-blowing plot twists of El Khanka and Maa’ Sebq El Esrar, for he will be making his Hollywood debut alongside Golden Globe and Oscar nominee Eric Roberts and Patrick Kilpatrick in American film The Outcast. You’ll finally be able to admire his incredible mane on a much larger scale and in better quality! Let’s just hope it’s in 3D.
The movie co-stars Roberts, who shares a star-studded bloodline with younger sister, Academy Award winner Julia Roberts, as well as daughter actress Emma Roberts, but that’s not the only reason why his face might look all too familiar. The 60-year-old has starred in over 200 films, including playing The Dark Knight’s iconic mafia boss Salvatore “Sal” Maroni.
Shooting is expected to be wrapping up near the end of next month, according to Al Bawaba.
Here’s El Masry and Roberts being goofy on Instagram. Guess they're like, best buds now.
