In the spirit of cross-cultural cinematic exchange, Goethe Institut will present a selection of German and Arabic films that have recently been presented in international film festivals.
The Goethe Institut is running their ‘Goethe Film Week’ in Cairo and Alexandria from June 25th to July 2nd. In the spirit of cross-cultural cinematic exchange, they’ll present a selection of the most recent German productions with a sprinkle of a few Arabic films as well.
With a range of feature-length, documentary, and experimental films, the festival’s movies have been shown in international festivals throughout the past year.
In addition to in-person showings, the institute will also make their screenings available on their ‘Goethe on Demand’ platform free of charge. You can tune in online at goethe-on-demand.de
