Luxor African Film Festival Contest Invites Viewers to Spotlight Egypt

Budding filmmakers are urged to produce 90-second videos with the hashtags #RediscoverEgypt and #Luxor_African_Film_Fest, and upload them to social media before February 25th.

With the 11th cycle of the Luxor African Film Festival around the corner, the panel is opening the experience to the public and inviting people to take part a little more actively - with a videography competition to be more precise.

The ‘Rediscover Egypt’ project has been created in the hopes of showcasing Egypt’s hidden gems and  lesser-known archeological sites. With that notion in mind, if you live in close proximity to some of Egypt’s ancient treasures then you might just be qualified to win this thing.

Those participating in the competition are urged to produce 90-second videos with the hashtags #RediscoverEgypt and #Luxor_African_Film_Fest, and upload them to social media before February 25th.

Out of all the videos uploaded to Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, and Twitter, three budding filmmakers with the highest viewer engagement will be chosen for an all-expense-paid trip to the Luxor festival.
