The Latin pop star announced his engagement with Syrian-born conceptual artist Jwan Yosef yesterday on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Puerto Rican pop star Ricky Martin officially announced his engagement to Syrian artist Jwan Yosef on Wednesday's The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Daily Mail reported.
The Latin lover, who came out in 2010, showed off his engagement band at the show, saying he was in love with Yosef, a 32-year-old artist born in Syria and raised in Sweden, who he met over a year ago through his conceptual paintings.
The 44-year-old artist – who split with his former partner, economist Carlos González Abella, in 2014 – did not pop the traditional “will you marry me,” but instead told Yosef he “got something” for him.
The Grammy winner and his fiancé made their social media debut on March 30th in Tokyo, as the singer now takes on his 106-date One World Tour.
The Syrian artist will become a stepfather to Ricky's eight-year-old twin sons, Matteo and Valentino, who “love him,” said the Living La Vida Loca hit-maker.
