South Korea Offers Digital Transformation for Egypt's Smart Cities

With Egypt's recent enthusiasm for smart cities, South Korea has offered local officials and industries the opportunity to join their digital transformation programme, 'K-City Network 2021'.

The South Korean ambassador to Egypt, H.E. Hong Jin-wook has reached out to a number of Egyptian officials and industries to join South Korea's international partnership programme, 'K-City Network 2021'. The initiative helps governments the world over develop smart cities using Korean companies, technology and know-how.

The government-to-government cooperation programme solves urban issues like traffic and security through digital transformation, and helps implement e-government systems that would allow citizens to interact with government services efficiently and conveniently.
