UAE's Sheikh Rashid Dies Suddenly Aged 34

The UAE is in mourning as news emerges of the death of Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum after suffering from a heart attack.

We all know how much the Emirates love their ruling family, so it is no surprise that a three-day mourning period has been announced following the sudden death of Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the eldest son the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum - the UAE's vice president, prime minister and ruler of Dubai. 

The news of his death emerged on Saturday morning after the 34-year old was said to have suffered a lethal heart attack. It is unknown if he had any previous conditions. The three mourning period starts in the UAE today, with flags being flown at half-mast. Prayers will be held today at Dubai's Zabeel Masjid, while his body is expected to be buried at Um Harir cemetery.
