Whether it will be placed in the Alexandrian Museum or the Library of Alexandria has yet to be determined.
The head of Egypt's Actors' Syndicate, Ashraf Zaki, announced that the works of Ahmed Zaki will be commemorated in a museum. The announcement described how Ashraf Zaki reached an agreement with the actors' family lawyer to gain access to their items.
Negotiations are still on-going as to the location of the collection, with the Alexandrian Museum and the Library of Alexandria named as possible candidates.
Ashraf Zaki shared that since Haitham Zaki passed away, discussions on what to do with the art that he and his father left behind began.
According to Youm7, the collection will include awards, scripts and movie costumes.
