Al Mokattam Plateau to Be Developed for EGP 32 Billion

The development hopes to capitalize on the city views of Al Mokattam Plateau.

Cairo’s Al-Mokattam area, best-loved for its plateau which overlooks the city from above, is being redeveloped in an aim to make use of its beautiful views. Al-Nasr Housing and Development Company signed a partnership contract with Scope International Engineering, to develop the Mokattam Corniche for EGP 32 billion.

Developing a massive area of ​​1,750,000 square meters, the expected revenues for the project are about EGP 61 billion, according to the Ministry of Public Business Sector.

This project comes within the framework of implementing the strategy of the ministry to capitalize on the assets owned by its subsidiaries and develop the returns generated from them, as well as to encourage partnership with the private sector.
