Cairo University Aims to Bridge Global Knowledge Gap with New Research

Cairo University has formed high scientific committees composed of senior professors to monitor and analyze the world’s most prominent universities.

Cairo University has put forth an ambitious initiative - the first of its kind for Egyptian and Arab universities- to bridge the gap in education and knowledge by reaching out to the top ten universities of the world. In achieving this goal, Cairo University’s President, Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht, has formed high scientific committees composed of senior professors to monitor and analyze the world’s most prominent universities.

These committees will monitor curricula, scientific disciplines, educational and research centres, and teaching techniques of different faculties, as well as analyse the output of ten specialised journals with high global impact. Their work aims to compare leading global scientific and technological thought  with Cairo University’s current approach, and determine the best way to amend those disparities.
