'The Eddy' will be an eight-episode drama entrenched in Paris's jazz culture from the Academy Award-winning 'La La Land' director Damien Chazelle.
Ah, Paris - often thought of as the jazz capital of Europe, France's most romantic city has been immortalized in the genre with such classics as 'J'ai Deux Amours', 'April in Paris' and 'Everybody Wants to Be a Cat'. So you better believe our shoes got tapping when we heard about Netflix's new series, 'The Eddy', an eight-episode drama entrenched in Paris's jazz culture from the Academy Award-winning director Damien Chazelle - you know, just the guy who made 'La La Land', is all. And if that wasn't enough to get us hyped, we also found out it'll have a special appearance by Tunisian actor Dhafer L'Abidine! We're not sure how exactly he'll be involved, but we're looking forward to seeing the star from 'Halawet el Donia' hit the screen in this new, musically-charged series.
