Upon turning 21 years old, anyone who was previously living in a care home will be eligible to receive one of 600 apartments, which will be given out annually.

This is considered part of the post-care period for orphaned young adults, and is meant to help facilitate their integration into society.

The first batch will be delivered to these young adults at the beginning of April, along with the creation of job opportunities for any postsecondary graduates amongst them.
