Perhaps the only positive case of an eye for an eye.
After a week in Kenya, a team of Egyptian doctors and professors finished performing 107 ophthalmology operations in Nairobi, Kenya.
The convoy consisted of professionals from the Faculty of Medicine at Alexandria University. In addition to the operations, the medical team also worked on establishing communication and relations with the local Kenyan doctors, according to a statement from the Egyptian embassy in Nairobi on Monday.
The Egyptian embassy added that the Egyptian team’s medical visit to Kenya supports the framework of establishing better relations with other African countries.
Recently, Egypt participated for the first time in FOCAC 2018, a China-Africa Cooperation where Egypt had the opportunity to begin improved relationships with its surrounding countries.
