The up-and-coming swimmer will be the only Egyptian swimmer on the the university's varsity squad.
Emerging star swimmer Youssef Ramadan has enrolled in Virginia Tech and will be joining the program to be the only Egyptian swimmer on Virginia Tech’s varsity squad.
Ramadan is most known for qualifying for the semi-finals of the men’s 50 fly at the 2019 World Junior Swimming Championships. At the age of 17, his best time for the 100 fly was within half a second of the national record.
Ramadan will be joining swimming champion Farida Osman in Virgnia Tech, who currently trains there as part of the Virginia Tech post-grad group.
