Egypt's most talented designers are showcasing their latest works in the UK to the entire world.
His Excellency Ambassador Nasser Kamel, along with his wife Dalia El Batal will soon be hosting a private viewing, reception and gala dinner to celebrate the contemporary and innovative Egyptian designers who have stood out from the crowd as well as representing the cultural heritage of Egypt abroad. These artists - proudly displaying the kind of talent that Egypt has to offer - will be showcasing their designs to some of the UK's elite at the Mansion House during the private dinner and exhibition titled 'Made in Egypt' on the 8th of May, followed by a public showing starting on the 9th of May and running until the 10th.
“We very much look forward to welcoming London’s elite to meet these young designers, witness and get acquainted with their outstanding creations.” Egypt's Ambassador to the UK Nasser Kamel stated in a press release.
The designers come from various fields of fashion and design; the likes of women's wear, jewelry, accessories, furniture and even architectural designs. Just to throw out some outstanding names, the list of invitees are: Azza Fahmy, Dalseen, DE vie, Dou. by Misura, Eklego Design, Hala Shohayeb, JamSpace, Kerrat, Malaika, Okhtein, Rawya Mansour, Reform Studio, Rimal, Tanis and Temraza.
Hopefully, this will be the first of many such events showcasing the talent of young Egyptian creatives, as well as giving Egyptians more opportunities to market their goods and services world-wide and fortifying Egyptian-UK business ventures.
