The Ministry of Transport is providing free Wi-Fi for anyone to use at Misr Station starting December 1st.
You won’t have to fiddle with your mobile hotspot when you’re waiting for a train at Misr Station in Ramses Square anymore. Starting December 1st, the Ministry of Transport is providing free Wi-Fi for anyone to use inside the station, as well as on the sidewalks and square right outside it.
The decision to implement complimentary Wi-Fi is part of a sweeping series of changes by Egyptian National Railways to elevate their services to international standards. Maybe we’ll have Wi-Fi on the actual trains next? Our mobile data limits would be extremely grateful.
