Vodafone RED is teaming up with toy store extraordinaire Hedeya for an all-out back to school extravaganza. And there will be cupcakes.
Sadly, Sahel season is officially over. On the bright side, we now get to ship our kids off to school for eight months. Part of sending your little darlings back to the place that will teach them the difference between 'it's' and 'its', is back to school shopping! Ah the smell of fresh gel pens from our days in grade school. But that was then and this is now and we don't know what kind of crazy things kids are into these days. But Cairo's ultimate toy store, Hedeya, does, and they're teaming up with Vodafone RED to make their wishes a reality.
This weekend, the giant, five-floor store that houses everything your kid will ever need, is teaming up with Vodafone RED to host a giant back to school shebang for a select group of the city's movers and shakers. And their kids of course. On Friday, September 2nd, a slew of Cairo's yummy mummies and their kiddos will descend upon the massive store for a crazy shopping spree! Vodafone RED VIP customers are being treated 40,000 Vodafone RED points - i.e. to 2,000 LE worth goodies at Hedeya - to spend on whatever their heart desires.
But they're not stopping there. They've got cupcake cuties, Nola, on hand to drench the entire event in sugar. And when the aforementioned sugar rush gives your kids more energy than you can realistically handle in your heels, there's a slew of events to keep the kids entertained all day. So the running after them will be minimal. From arts and crafts to face painting to an entire juice stand manned by none other than bartender extraordinaire, Ray, you can basically gossip with the other parents about what spa treatment you'll go get while the kids are in school while your children go do things.
This is just one in a series of Vodafone's #RedWeekends; happening every other week, each weekend will see the mobile giant create two days of magic for their extra special Vodafone RED customers. Your invitation probably got lost in the mail.
Anyway, this weekend, get ready for a day of fun and frolics, new notebooks, and Nola's cupcakes. Also, there is no shame in getting a butterfly painted on your face, even as an adult. Just saying.
