It's kitesurfing and partying on the beach all day and night on the first of April in Ras Sudr, as La Hacienda Beach Resort throws a big beach bash at Soul Centre featuring deck masters Sebzz, Sherif El Awadi, and Fairouz T.
Summer draws near and so does the ever-welcomed summer party fever. Every summer, something ignites inside of us that commands - nay, compels - us to party like no man has partied before. We scatter all over the globe in an attempt to experience as many parties as we can; dancing, booze, music, and more dancing are essentials of this sun-soaked season.
Well, this April, we are being offered an opportunity to start our summer adventures with a well sought-after destination that is no more than a couple of hours' drive away. Ras Sudr is the closest town in South Sinai to Cairo, and it's the closest thing to Sinai life you can get without travelling the distance. Basically all that's missing in Ras Sudr is the mountainous back drop that you get in towns like Sharm, Dahab, Nuweiba, and the rest of coastal South Sinai. Other than that, you get the amazing weather - very suitable for some water sports, say some kitesurfing - the pristine beaches, and the ultimate chillaxed vibes. Thanks to La Hacienda Beach Resort and Soul Centre for kitesurfing, you will be getting all of the above, as well as some very sexy Cairo DJs and their smouldering beach tunes, on April 1st at their beach bash entitled Hooked. Ahmed El Sebai - AKA Sebzz - is one of Cairo's most distinguished deck masters; he played some of the country's best nights and clubs, and now is set to play one of Ras Sudr's freshest beach parties. Also on the bill for the night is seasoned DJ Sherif El Awadi of the Awadi Brothers. Sherif started out as a DJ years ago alongside his sibling, Aly. The Awadi Bros have been a staple in Egypt's nightlife scene for years, playing in clubs like Pacha, CJC, and many more. Also, one of Cairo's latest additions to its growing list of female DJs, Fairouz T, debuted last year and has since been playing regularly at some of Cairo's favourite night spots, like CJC and Riverside. Last but not least, Moste of Temple of Sound records will be bringing in his cutting edge sounds along with local debutant Omar Elkoussy who'll be packing an array of electrifying vibes. With this lineup against a beach backdrop in celebration of Soul Centre's anniversary - complete with some kitesurfing, of course - it's bound to be one hell of a celebration.
