The Indian video-on-demand platform has released free Arabic-dubbed Bollywood films exclusively for Middle Eastern audiences.
For some people, time spent in self-quarantine is being used to finesse yoga poses, work through reading lists and generally just self-reflect. For others, it’s been a binge-watching heaven. If you belong to the latter category and happen to be a Bollywood fan, you’re in luck. Indian video-on-demand platform, ZEE5, has made all of its Arabic-dubbed Bollywood films available to Middle Eastern audiences for free.
The list of films include blockbusters such as the buddy comedy 2018 film ‘Veere Di Wedding’, the 2011 superhero movie ‘Ra.One’ and ‘Pardes’, the 1996 hit Drama Musical film starring the one and only Shah Rukh Khan. The move is part of a ZEE5 campaign encouraging people to #StayHomeStayEntertained and taps into Arab audiences’ long-running love for Bollywood.
ZEE5 is available for download in the App Store, Google Play, on Samsung Smart TVs and Apple TV. You can also access their content on Android TVs, Roku devices and Amazon Fire TV, or on their website zee5.com.
