As part of the Ministry of Health’s efforts to improve the governorate’s medical services, Kafr El-Sheikh has received a new nutritional clinic at Sidi Salem Central Hospital.
Whether we like it or not, life in Egypt can be Cairo-centric. Most of the universities are here, the jobs are here, and bar a few exceptions, we've also got a lot of the top medical facilities as well. It can be hard to appreciate that you wouldn't be able to have your own nutritional specialist in Kafr El Sheikh until you're actually there. However, things appear to be looking up on that front with news of Kafr El Sheikh first nutrition clinic, which is opening in the governorate’s Sidi Salem Central Hospital.
As part of a larger effort from the Ministry of Health to upgrade Kafr El Sheikh's medical services, the centre will treat adults and children who suffer from kidney failure, chronic liver diseases, metabolic and cardiovascular diseases, in addition to other nutrition-related conditions like high blood pressure and diabetes. Patients with gluten intolerance or food allergies can also expect to find treatment in the centre, which will also be able to treat various tumour cases.
