Ministry of Environment Launches 'Recycle for Tomorrow' Initiative

The Ministry of Environment and PepsiCo created a new platform called 'Recycle for Tomorrow' to reduce plastic consumption within Egypt's private sector.

'Recycle for Tomorrow' is a new platform by the Ministry of Environment and PepsiCo that aims to reduce plastic consumption across Egypt,  and to promote recycling and sustainable development. The platform will actively encourage other companies in the private sector to adopt goals such as collecting 8 million kilograms of their own plastic waste in 2021, and employing 1000 workers by the end of the year.

The platform will include projects to facilitate the recycling process for garbage collectors across Egypt, particularly in Manshiyat Naser, Ezbet El Nakhl, and 15th of May city.
