Morocco's Oasis Fest Blows Every Other Music Festival in the Middle East Out of the Water

The only festival of its kind taking place in the Middle East, Oasis Fest features one of the best line-ups to have ever hit the region.

What can we say about Morocco - beside its spectacular natural beauty, outstanding architecture, and to-die-for food? Well, those Moroccans know how to party - if anything, they know how to party better than the rest of us Arabs combined. Doubting the truth of our words? Check out the line-up for Oasis Fest 2016, taking place at The Source Music Resort in Marrakech.

What did we tell you?! Hands down, Oasis Fest's line-up has managed to trump damn near every other festival, or electronic music event in the entire Middle East, and if it's going to be anything like last year, then we anticipate lots and lots of tumultuous dance-floor moments just like before.

We're mostly excited about old school legends Derrick May, Tale of Us, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Bicep, and The Black Madonna, and we are super excited about Omar Souleyman, all of whom have never been spotted in Egypt before. We've essentially stopped working as of right now, and are currently plotting how to set the office on fire to get some time off and use the insurance money to pay for tickets to Morocco.

The event takes place over three days, starting on the 16th of September and concluding on the 18th; three days and nights of beguiling beats and hedonistic debauchery, sigh!
