Somabay is putting the spring back into our step this Easter with Back to Life, an 11-day long celebration that kicks off with none other than Alexandra Stan.
Easter tends to be a celebration of all things spring-y - it's all fresh life and waking up from the depths of winter - which may or may not be the reason why Somabay named its Easter Festival this year ‘Back to Life'. It's a rather amusing incidence, either way, especially considering that they are bringing Mrs. Saxobeat herself, Alexandra Stan, to breathe the life back into our bodies.
The Romanian singer will be performing her 2011 hit, Mr. Saxobeat, at Somabay’s famed Marina on April 22nd from 10 PM to 11 PM - anyone who wasn't hiding out under a rock will remember that insanely catchy tune that was blasting through literally every single speaker in the country a few summers ago. And if you think this is a tough act to follow, wait till you see what else Somabay has in store for you this Easter. With Free Stay, Amadeus, saxophonists Darryl John Kennedy and Ahmed Zaghloul, Zako the Guitarist, and Dina Salah each set to grace the Marina with a performance from April 23rd to May 2nd, you are bound to have a good time! The festival also presents a great opportunity to spend some quality time with the family as there will be a lot of fun activities you can do with the kids, with everything from arts and crafts and Easter egg hunts to face painting.
Now, good luck getting Mr. Saxobeat out of your head!
