The National Council for Childhood and Motherhood, dedicated to preserving the rights of children and women, is opening an office in every governorate in Egypt.
The Egyptian National Council for Childhood and Motherhood is opening offices in every governorate in the country. The expansions are being made to better enable the council to get more upclose and personal when addressing local issues, such as children’s rights, violence against women, and FGM— a lot of which happens in rural Egypt.
The branches will provide legal, psychological and social services to mothers and children. Additionally, these branches will raise awareness and campaign to protect the rights of children and mothers across the nation.
