New National Railway Route Opens from Cairo to Aswan

While commercial train lines, such as Watania, already offer trips to Aswan from Cairo, this is the first time it's available through the national railway.

Getting to the heart of Nubia just got a little bit quicker and cheaper, because the Egyptian National Railways has announced a new train service from Cairo to Aswan along with a full list of schedules.
