The group also plans to open a new hospital in Alexandria by early 2022, with a wider plan to build 10 hospitals across Egypt.
The Saudi German Hospital in Cairo group will build an integrated medical complex in 6th of October City, set to be inaugurated in early 2022.
The group’s Executive Director, Dr Sherif Fouad, revealed that the complex will include a general hospital built in accordance to top international standards, with a capacity of 300 beds. Complementing this will be an undisclosed number of specialised hospitals, outpatient departments, and the College of Medical Sciences and Technology.
With a presence in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, Yemen, and Egypt, the group is also planning to open a new hospital in Alexandria in 2022, as part of its first phase of Thebes City. With additional plans to open 10 hospitals across Egypt, it also hopes to establish hospitals in Upper Egyptian governorates in the future.
