Sawiris Foundation's New Scholarship Programme Helps Young Egyptian Creatives to Study Abroad

The Sawiris Foundation is preparing to send Egyptian arts students overseas with its new scholarship programme.

Aspiring artists, singers, dancers, script writers, fashion designers and all you other creative connoisseurs out there - this is your golden opportunity to spread your wings and study your passions abroad without the tuition stress. The Sawiris Foundation for Social Development has put an arts and culture scholarship into effect for universities in Europe, the United Kingdom and North America. The scholarships can help Egyptian students with undergraduate Bachelor’s degrees and Master’s degrees, so long as it falls within their list of approved universities.

A selection committee made up of of external experts in arts and culture, and member representatives from the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development will sift through the applicants. The scholarship ultimately covers tuition fees, learning materials, a living allowance, travel expenses, and health insurance— so basically everything.
