Promising a 'brunch that stands our from the bunch' you'll find us chowing down at the Semiramis this Friday.
Here at CairoScene, we love nothing more than starting the day with a plate of fuul, but after a long week in the office, we need something more when it comes to the weekend.
Cairenes' are spoiled for choice when it comes to Friday brunch which can make it difficult to choose a satisfying way to work off that Thursday night hangover. So you can imagine our joy when we heard it on the grapevine that the Semiramis Intercontinental hotel in downtown has launched what they call the “One brunch that stands out from the bunch.”
The five star hotel is pulling out all the stops and laying on an array of Egyptian, Lebanese and multi-ethnic dishes, with sushi and stir fry rubbing shoulders with teppanyaki and tandoori on the belly bursting menu.
Meanwhile the Intercontinental is also hosting a range of fun-filled activities and face painting to keep the kids amused while mum and dad indulge in some much needed down time at the table or while enjoying the hotel's luxurious swimming pool facilities.
The all-day event starts this Friday and costs 149 LE per person.
