When Sherine threw shade at Amr Diab last month, social media instantly jumped to his defence. But in his Dubai concert, Diab had something to say right back!
Last month at Amr Youssef and Kinda Alloush’s wedding, a seemingly drunk Sherine threw some shade at Egypt’s most beloved pop icon Amr Diab. Sherine told the wedding guests that, “he’s gotten too old,” without directly saying his name. Of course, social media quickly jumped to Diab’s defence insisting that she was indeed referring to their favourite pop star. A couple of days ago, Diab had some shade to throw right back, and it was caught on video!
In his Dubai concert, two days ago, Diab revisited his famous hit songs, including Nour El Ein, which is denoted by a memorable melody often mimicked by Diab through a clap before he commences the song. Clapping to the beat, the singer was caught on video laughing and saying: “I want to say that this clap achieved greater success than many songs and singers, even these days. I don’t know what to say, I don’t want to say names!” According to El Watan News, social media, yet again, interpreted the words of Diab as being a response to Sherine belittling him last month. The video garnered almost 100,000 views in 24 hours, but was taken down day. Do not fret, we found you another. Will the feud ever end between these two?
