According to the Ministry of Interior, one policeman has been killed, and four others wounded.
No more than an hour ago, a massive explosion sent ripples across the Rushdy district in central Alexandria, in an alleged attempt at felling the head of the Alexandria Security Directorate, who was only passing by when it all occurred.
Though the news is still fresh and info isn’t stable, sources so far say that one member of Police has been killed, and four other bystanders (two of which in critical condition) have been injured by the ensuing shrapnel from the car bomb’s explosion, seven emergency aid vehicles have been sent to the site to offer proper medical aid.
Our thoughts are with the folks over at Alexandria and we’ll await further news once it starts pouring in.
