Located in Marassi’s Marina on Egypt’s North Coast, Dara’s Ice Cream’s Museum of Wonders launches you - lipgloss first - into the most hyper feminine establishment of this Sahel season.
If pink could emote, it would probably cry in glitter on the steps of a club on Sahelian shores. And if one manages to breathe life into the flamboyant hue, then Pink would probably be spotted grazing on bubblegum sherbet at Dara’s newest concept store: an ice cream shop punctuated by an overhaul of sensory experiences.
Located in Marassi’s Marina on Egypt’s North Coast, Dara’s Museum of Wonders launches you - lipgloss first - into the most hyper feminine establishment of this Sahel season. Brighter than Valentino’s powerpuff pink spring/summer collection, the store situates itself so poetically on the brink of ‘Indie TikTok girl’ and ‘Regina George’. Oozing a theatrical form of sweetness, this is the ultimate experiential Museum.
Comprising four rooms, everything inside compels visitors to amp up their senses. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted with the aroma of Belgium chocolate. The further you lean into its dramaturgical essence, the more you encounter. Like, the shop has a real-life pink pool? A cake room? A cone room? A ball pit? And uhm a merry-go-round? Seriously, look for yourself.
Having contacted ‘The Cult’ in April of this year and expressing their vivid vision, the famed experiential design studio took the abstract dream into stride, hence why this is - quite literally - a feast for the senses. With music and pink-flavoured visual stimuli erupting out of every room, the museum permits visitors to experience ice cream like never before.
Celebrating the opening of her passion project, Dara took to her culinary think tank and whisked us three new flavours: a mango and blood orange combo that glistens in citrusy goodness. A cult classic blend of vanilla, chocolate and caramel that’s made to ascribe with Cairennes' taste palettes. And a rainbow flavour rich in raspberry, mango, vanilla, chocolate, caramel; unravelling your inner children from beneath the cobwebs from which they were buried.
