Egypt Will Start Issuing Vaccine Passports
The passports are planned to be rolled out next week in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications, and will resemble electronic health passports that are already in use at airports.
The Ministry of Health and Population will soon issue vaccine passports that will display your vaccination status with one of three colours: red for citizens who have not been vaccinated at all, yellow for those who received a single dose, and green for anyone who is fully vaccinated. The passports are planned to be rolled out next week in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications, and will resemble electronic health passports that are already in use at airports. For citizens who do not have access to the electronic vaccine passport, they have the option of receiving a paper passport with a serial number, and a QR code that will record the date of vaccination and the name of the vaccine.
