Award-Winning Designer Nihal Zaki Launches Online Homeware Store

Award-winning interior designer Nihal Zaki launches funky, fresh, and fun online homeware store…

Amazon might have finally landed in Egypt this week, but at SceneHome we’re altogether more excited by the launch of a sassier type of online store.

Award-winning interior designer Nihal Zaki - that unstoppable force of fabulous design fierceness - has just announced the launch of her own online homeware store, ‘N+ the One Stop Design Shop’, that you can browse and buy from at

A graduate of the prestigious Inchbald School of Design in the UK, the last two decades have seen Zaki become a household name in the regional design space winning a slew of awards (too long to list!) including the Africa & Arabia Property Awards in the Interior Design Private Residence category for Egypt with her work for ‘el Karma Residence’. She’s also been featured multiple times in the prestigious Andrew Martin International Interior Design Review, along with the world’s top leading designers.

As with the majority of industries however, the design world took a deep hit during the pandemic, and Zaki found it changed not only her business outlook but also her personal ethos.

“I have learned that design should be accessible, comfortable, affordable and soothing,” she tells SceneHome. “After all the hardship we’ve been through, who wants a cocky inaccessible designer with a $$$ price tag in order to design and furnish their homes?!”

And so her brand new picture perfect platform was born with each piece personally produced and curated by Zaki herself, known for her tireless attention to detail. “I put my heart and soul into every piece to create something cosy, whimsical and joyful,” she says. “So you get to acquire that designer feeling without resorting to an actual designer!” represents her first foray into the online retail space and Zaki promises this is just the beginning with weekly product updates and even Zoom consultation services coming very soon.
