Low-cost airlines are edging their way into the market with local companies scaling up their domestic and international routes. Here are three of the 'biggest' players with the lowest fares...
Fly Egypt has just launched a one-way Cairo-to-Ras Al Khaimah route for as low as EGP2,500, which is almost EGP2,000 less than other carriers. They also have flights to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Jordan.
Air Cairo covers every airport in Egypt, and they also offer a huge array of international destinations, including Bali, Athens, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Prague and Rome.
Finally, Nile Air can fly you from Cairo to local spots like Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, Aswan, and Luxor. There are a few international options as well, including Turkey, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq.
