Nadia El-Awady is an award-winning science journalist and an avid blogger. Besides her career, which currently focuses on consulting on science communication projects, she has gone on many adventures, including climbing Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro. She met her second husband while climbing – but not succeeding to summit – Western Europe’s highest mountain, Mont Blanc. Nadia is a scuba diver and has done paragliding, skydiving, and bungee jumping. More importantly, she has four beautiful children who seem to be well-adjusted to their mother’s many eccentricities.
